It’s been a busy few months since Dinn-stagramming my month of September.

We had a big spooky halloween afternoon tea with cocktails, which was lovely. Then I went back to work after maternity leave, and then barrelled straight into Christmas and New Year, and it’s been GO!GO!GO! ever since.

We had a lovely birthday party for my eldest though. It was his first since his first, due to Covid restrictions, and he had a blast. Everyone loved the rainbow cake and the hidden centre. I did go maximum overkill though, with cooked foods, sandwiches, a tower of treats and a cake.

I’ve not done a proper kid party before, especially one with lots of parents and family too, and had absolutely no idea what to expect. The next one will definitely be simpler!

Seriously though, how cool is this cake? Hubs, being the artist in the family, made the rhino for me. I think it’s hilarious in a bewildered sort of way!
